ASEAN now accounts for 8.3% of China's textile & garment exports

ASEAN has become the fastest growing importer of China's textile and garment exports. CCF Group reports that in 2010, when the China-ASEAN free trade zone was established, China's textile and garment exports to ASEAN registered $14.81 billion. In January to June 2011, China's textile and garment exports grew further to $9.3 billion, an increase of 41.1% year on year, higher than its global average increase (25.8%), accounting for an 8.3% share of China's textile and garment exports.

ASEAN for the first time surpassed Hong Kong to rank No. 4 of China's export markets.
